Here are some important updates for you all: GRADES 1.) Quarter 3 grades have been posted since March 18, 2020. Any grade changes after this date were reviewed by Mrs. Flores, our school principal. 2.) No grades should be entered for Quarter 4. 3.) Quarter 3 will be the Semester 2 grade. - Semester 2 is usually the average of Quarter 3 and Quarter 4. However, with the closure of schools, your Semester 2 grade will be whatever is earned for Quarter 3. Quarter 4 is not included. - Students who failed with a final Quarter 3 grade of 1%-59% will be granted a Semester 2 grade of 60%. - Students who were absent for the entire quarter and/or did not submit any work for Quarter 3, will not be awarded the 60% for the Semester 2 grade. Instead, the Semester 2 grade will remain as a 0%. - Students in an AP/Honors Course, will be awarded the +10% for the Semester 2 grade. For example, a student who earned a 92% for Quarter 3, will get a 102% for the Semester 2 grade. Students who failed an AP/Honors Course with a 69% or below, will not be awarded the +10%. Instead, the student's grade will remain as a 60-69% or will be raised to a 60% if the Quarter 3 grade is 1%-59%. - These grade policies are in accordance with the Guam Education Board Proposed Policies. Please see the PDF for reference. 4.) Semester 2 grades have been inputted into PowerSchool by our computer operator, Ms. Ann Marie. Teachers are currently reviewing all grades and have until Friday, April 24, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. to review and check for discrepancies.
